Job summary

Big G Tire & Auto is looking for an Automotive General Service Technician to perform tire mounting, balancing, and routine maintenance. You will check fluids, belts, hoses, batteries, and other systems, while documenting findings and maintaining shop equipment.

You should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work well in a fast-paced team environment. Authorized to work in the United States and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of automotive systems.
• Experience with PC-based diagnostic tools or digital inspections is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, and install tires with precision and care.
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, fluid flushes and replacements, belt and hose replacements, battery testing and installation, and general automotive repairs.
• Conduct thorough visual inspections of vehicles and document findings.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of shop equipment and fluids handling.
• Expand automotive knowledge and skills for long-term career development.
• Perform additional duties to support shop operations and team success.
