Job summary

Hertz is seeking a Tire and Lube Technician in Detroit to service vehicles and perform essential maintenance. The role offers a wage of $17.50 per hour with opportunities for growth and employee discounts.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic automotive repair aptitude, and their own tools. Prior experience is welcomed but not required, with training provided on lifts, tire changers, and scan tools.

Educational Background:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Professional Experience:

• Entry level position with no required experience
• Preferred prior experience with automotive repair (personal or professional)

Knowledge:

• Must be able to perform vehicle repairs with oversight
• Ability to use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools

Additional Notes:

• Must have tools to perform necessary repairs
• Minimum tools needed for the job. 3/8\" and ½\" impact wrench
• Sockets wrench - metric and standard - preferably long and short lengths.
• Oil Filter wrenches and tools
• TPMS tool - reset tire sensors
