Challenger Sports is seeking an energetic soccer coach to deliver engaging sessions to children ages 2-16 across our TinyTykes and academy programs in Raleigh, NC. Training and materials provided; mileage covered for travel.

Part-time role with an hourly starting rate of $20, potential raise to $25 after the fall term. You'll follow a detailed curriculum, communicate enthusiastically with young players, and foster a love of the game while ensuring safe, fun sessions with professional coaching

Job Summary

Looking for an enthusiastic, engaging Soccer Coach to deliver a number of Soccer classes to children between the ages of 2 and 16.

The majority of this position will be with 2-5 year old soccer players!

Training and equipment will be provided, mileage will also be covered in the event of travel requirements.

Challenger Sports are looking for a motivated individual to join our team of professional soccer coaches. The main requirements for this job are a love of soccer and the ability to follow a detailed curriculum when coaching.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Deliver professional, fun and engaging soccer sessions to young children.
• Engage children with enthusiasm and good communication.
• Be patient when children are not as engaged as you would like.
• Grow a passion and a love for soccer by delivering excellent sessions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Background in soccer.
• Experience in coaching soccer at any level.
• Must pass a state background check.
• Coaching qualifications.
• Hourly rate $20 to begin, raise to $25 if kept on after the fall.
• Training provided by professional soccer coaches to develop your soccer coaching.

What is TinyTykes?

TinyTykes is a FUNdamental introduction to the game of soccer for players aged 2-6. Players learn the introductory skills of soccer through you teaching them fun games and stories in weekly classes lasting 45 mins each. Our soccer experts and child development professionals have designed an innovative curriculum for you to follow which introduces young soccer stars to the basic skills needed in soccer as well as developing their motor, social, and psychological skills.

What is the Challenger Soccer Academy?

Challenger Soccer Academy offers professional year-round coaching to recreation and/or competitive players and teams aged 5 - 18 years old.
