Job summary

Timberland is seeking an Associate DTC Planner (AMER) in Stratham, NH to lead inventory planning for accessories. You’ll forecast demand, manage pricing and promotions, and partner with merchandising and allocation teams to align assortments with store capacity.

You’ll analyze trends, monitor performance, and communicate insights weekly to drive sales and profitability while ensuring alignment with brand strategy and targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Planning or analytics experience in footwear, apparel, or fashion retail.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and merchandising systems (e.g., PLM, ERP).
• Deep understanding of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and retail math.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and historical sales data to forecast demand.
• Collaborate with buying, allocation, and inventory teams to manage inventory levels and open-to-buy budgets.
• Manage key style plans to ensure appropriate inventory levels and align with buyers on future demand.
• Monitor unshipped inventory and identify any unneeded demand that can be shared with other channels.
• Analyze product performance against expectations and communicate findings at weekly business reviews.
• Manage accessories pricing and promotions that align with inventory, margin, and discount targets.
• Track product performance and make pricing and distribution recommendations for each style.
• Partner with merchandising and allocation on new store assortments that align with selling and backroom capacity.
