Job summary

The Gallegos Corporation in Denver, CO is seeking a Tile Setter for full-time manual labor. You will trim, cut, install and polish tile and stone in floors and walls, with emphasis on craftsmanship and safety on every job site.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of concrete, construction, or Marble & Granite experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work with mortar and tile backer. We value teamwork and a shared commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• Tile setter with 3–5 years of concrete, construction, or marble & granite experience.
• Attention to detail with accuracy and thoroughness.
• Able to trim, face, cut, surface, polish tile and stone to spec.

Responsibilities

• Trims, faces, and cuts tile/slab to specified size and shape.
• Cut, surface, polish and installs tile and granite or install pre-cast terrazzo, granite, or tile units.
• Mix, apply and spread mortar to tile back, position the tile/slab and press or tap with trowel handle to affix tile to base.
• Polishes tile and other ornamental stone to high luster.
• Participates in daily huddles and practices safety as a priority on all job sites.
• Models The Gallegos Corporation mission and values at all times.
• This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
• 3-5 years of concrete or construction or Marble & Granite experience.
• Attention to detail with demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness.
