Job summary

Kitchen Tune-Up KC Olathe Liberty is seeking an Experienced Tile Installer to join our growing team. You’ll manage residential tile projects, including backsplashes, floors, bathrooms, and showers, with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has proven experience installing both floor and bathroom/shower tiles, a strong understanding of waterproofing, and the ability to measure and plan tile layouts.

Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of residential tile projects, including kitchen backsplashes, floor tiles, bathrooms, showers and tub surrounds.
• Tile layout, cutting, setting, grouting and finishing.
• Waterproofing and proper surface preparation; maintain a clean, professional jobsite.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and project management team.

Kitchen Tune-Up KC Olathe Liberty has been serving the Kansas City area since 2021, and we continue to grow year after year. As our business continues to expand, we’re looking for an Experienced Tile Installer who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and wants to be part of a team that values its people.

We're expanding the amount of tile installation work we perform in-house and are looking for the right person to grow with us.

What You'll Do

As our Tile Installer, you'll handle a variety of residential tile projects, including:

• Kitchen backsplash installation
• Floor tile installation
• Bathroom tile installation
• Shower and tub surround tile
• Tile layout, cutting, setting, grouting, and finishing
• Waterproofing and proper surface preparation
• Demo and preparation as needed
• Maintaining a clean, professional jobsite
• Communicating professionally with homeowners and our project management team

Experience We’re Looking For

We're looking for someone who is experienced, dependable, professional, and proud of their work.

Professional experience installing BOTH floor tile and bathroom/shower tile is required for this position.

The ideal candidate has:

• Professional tile installation experience
• Required experience with floor tile installation
• Required experience with bathroom and shower tile installation
• Experience installing kitchen backsplashes
• Strong knowledge of proper waterproofing and installation methods
• Experience with tile layout, cuts, transitions, grout, and finished detail work
• Strong attention to detail and finish quality
• Ability to accurately measure and plan tile layouts
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently while also being part of a team
• A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
