Reach Social, a Chief Media company, seeks an Affiliate Strategy Manager to lead the team handling affiliate and creator performance across our client portfolio. You will guide Affiliate Strategists, forecast GMV, and optimize program economics while developing scalable playbooks and creator communities.

This role requires 4–6+ years in affiliate or influencer commerce, hands-on TikTok Shop experience, and strong client presence. Hybrid work in New York City is offered with full-time commitment.

Who We Are

Reach Social, a Chief Media company, is an official TikTok Shop Partner. We’ve launched 50+ brands on TikTok Shop and driven $30M+ in GMV for 7–9 figure household brands. Our ambition is to become the most sought-after social commerce partner in the market.

We don’t just “run affiliates.” We build creator programs that keep producing, so the creator who posts once becomes the creator who posts every week. As part of Chief Media, you’ll work alongside Chief Media’s media and client strategy teams on shared brands.

The Role

You lead the team that runs affiliate growth across every account we manage. As Affiliate Strategy Manager, you own affiliate and creator performance across Reach’s client portfolio and lead the Affiliate Strategists who run it day to day.

The job is two things at once: hitting the number now (affiliate GMV, creator activation and retention, commission ROI) and building the playbooks, incentive structures, creator community, and team that make those numbers repeatable as we add brands.

What You’ll Do

Lead the team

• Lead, hire, and develop the Affiliate Strategist team
• Set account assignments, weekly priorities, and targets
• Run performance reviews, QA account strategy, and coach on outreach, briefing, and negotiation
• Build onboarding and training so new strategists are productive in weeks, not months

Own portfolio performance

• Own affiliate GMV across all accounts: forecasting, pacing, and catching underperformance early
• Review account plans and step in where an account is off pace
• Own program economics: commission, sampling, retainer, and incentive spend against GMV and margin per account

Build the programs and systems

• Standardize the Reach affiliate playbook: open, target, and TAP collaborations, sampling rules, the reactivation sequence, and when to move proven creators onto retainers
• Design commission and incentive frameworks (tiered bonuses, contests, VIP and retainer tiers) the team applies across brands
• Build and grow Reach’s own creator community so every new brand launches with creators who already post and convert
• Own the affiliate tooling and data stack, including evaluating creator CRM and outreach tools

Represent Reach with clients and TikTok

• Be the senior affiliate partner on key accounts and in quarterly business reviews
• Own the relationship with our TikTok Shop partner contacts and stay ahead of platform and policy changes
• Bring new growth levers to the team: LIVE affiliates, cross-brand creator programs, and GMV Max with affiliate content
• Work closely with Client Success, Media Buyers, and Shop Ops

What Success Looks Like

• Affiliate GMV grows month over month across the portfolio
• Sample-to-post and repeat-posting rates rise on every account
• The whole team runs one documented playbook, and new brands launch with an existing creator community
• Your team is fully staffed, trained, and hitting target within 6 months

What You Bring

• 4–6+ years in affiliate, creator, or influencer commerce, including 2+ years hands-on with TikTok Shop
• Experience managing a team: direct reports you hired, coached, and held to targets
• A track record scaling affiliate GMV across multiple brands, at a TikTok Shop Partner agency or an in‑house program at scale
• Experience owning program economics: commission, seeding, retainer, and incentive spend against margin and growth
• Experience building creator communities, tiered/VIP programs, or retainer rosters
• Strong client presence: you can run a QBR and defend a recommendation with data
• Bonus: LIVE commerce, GMV Max / Spark Ads, or multi-platform affiliate programs
