Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical welding training preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of welding experience in aerospace/defense environments.
• Proven skill with thin-walled, precision components and exotic alloys.
• AWS or NAVSEA certification preferred.
• Ability to read GD&T and blueprints with precision measures.

Responsibilities

• Perform GTAW (TIG) welding on aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, and other exotic alloys.
• Interpret blueprints and Welding Procedure Specifications to meet tolerances.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, including orbital systems.
• Conduct weld inspections using NDT methods and document results.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and support quality audits.
