Job summary

Tradesmen International, LLC is immediately hiring experienced TIG Welders/Pipefitters for projects around Buffalo, NY. This first shift role offers pay up to $45/hour based on experience and skill.

You will read P&IDs, lay out and assemble stainless and carbon steel piping, and perform TIG welding with purge on process piping and related systems. You will also braze and solder copper lines, learn orbital welding equipment, and safely operate fabrication machinery while ensuring high-quality

Qualifications

• TIG and purge welding experience
• Strong pipefitting and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to fit and weld independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems
• Ability to read P&IDs and fabrication drawings
• Self-motivated and comfortable in a job shop environment
• High school diploma or trade school training preferred
• Ability to work at heights and in confined or tight spaces
• Ability to bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to quality workmanship

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, and project specifications
• Complete pipe layout, fitting, and assembly of stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems
• Perform TIG and purge welding on process piping, hydraulic lines, and related assemblies
• Produce full-penetration, high-quality welds for sanitary pharmaceutical applications
• Silver braze and solder copper refrigeration lines
• Operate or learn to operate computer-controlled orbital welding equipment
• Safely operate lathes, drill presses, milling machines, and other fabrication equipment
• Maintain quality workmanship while adhering to all safety and project requirements
