Job summary

Custom Marine in Neenah, WI is seeking a skilled TIG Welder/Fabricator for the 1st shift. You will join a team fabricating stainless steel exhaust headers, pipes, and other marine components, delivering welds that are both strong and visually appealing.

Required: experience welding stainless steel and aluminum, ability to read blueprints and work orders, and adherence to QA and safety procedures. The position offers comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience TIG Welding Stainless Steel and Aluminum to a quality, aesthetically pleasing weld.
• Ability to read blueprints, layouts, and work orders.
• Familiarity with plasma weld-around and related automation.
• Commitment to quality, productivity, and safety procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Weld stainless steel and aluminum to high quality standards.
• Fabricate and assemble components from blueprints and layouts.
• Read blueprints and work orders; follow QA processes.
• Maintain productivity, time management and safety compliance.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Willing to take on additional duties as directed.

Custom Marine is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered original equipment and aftermarket stainless steel exhaust headers, exhaust pipes, mufflers, and other marine and industrial components. Our products support healthcare, military, law enforcement, banking, gas stations, etc.

Position Summary

• Experience TIG Welding Stainless Steel, Aluminum and other metals to deliver a quality weld that is also aesthetically pleasing.
• Ability to “Walk the Cup” and be familiar with using hard automation such as plasma weld-around.
• Fabricate and assemble components and parts - Measure, cut, grind and shape components using varies tools.
• Ability to read, understand and work from blueprints, layouts, and other types of work orders/instructions.
• Ability to follow Quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Meet and maintain quality and performance expectations, including productivity, efficiency, and time management, all while maintaining a high-level attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by management.
• Other duties may be assigned to accommodate the needs of the company and/or shop
