Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Conyers, GA is seeking a TIG Welder I to lay out, fit, cut and weld aluminum and plastic components for machinery frames and shelving. You will read work orders, use punch presses, perform deburring, and help develop prototype samples as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-year certificate from college/technical school or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Cuts aluminum or plastic into lengths per work order; may use radial/miter saw.
• Deburr aluminum using electric sander.
• Shape edges of aluminum per work order specs using punch press.
• Punctures holes on plastic or aluminum per work order specifications.
• Ability to TIG and MIG weld thin aluminum extrusions.
• Maintain orderly and safe work area per procedures.
• Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and procedures.
• Develop prototype samples to support engineering projects.
