Job summary

Express Pros-Akron is seeking an experienced Welder to perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding to produce high-quality parts and assemblies that meet customer and production standards. The role requires setting up machines, reading blueprints, and ensuring safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on welding skills, reliability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding.
• Willingness to learn and stay current with industry practices.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Set up welding machines based on job requirements.
• Plan layout, assembly, and welding operations.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit components.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine welding specifications.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
