Description:

Configure is seeking a US-based, experienced, and highly skilled Tier 3 Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide advanced knowledge and experience for presales, design, implementation, and escalated support of Palo Alto Networks portfolio as well as Fortinet’s suite of products including firewalls, SASE, and SD-WAN services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced technical support for presales activities, including complex product demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Lead the design and implementation of sophisticated solutions for the required solution or proposed solution sets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Serve as an escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams.
• Conduct in-depth analysis and optimization where required.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and knowledge base articles for advanced technical issues.
• Mentor and train support staff.

Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in configuring and managing Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet devices and services.
• Deep understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and advanced networking concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex tasks and projects.
• Primarily remote but may require occasional travel.
• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for support coverage.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or 7 years’ experience in a related field.

Location: Telecommute, but must reside within the United States.

Compensation Range: $90k - $130k.
