Job summary

Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital is seeking a Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse for its Seasonal Nursing Pool. The role requires Cath Lab RN experience, active FL RN license, and BLS/ACLS; PALS/NRP may be required depending on unit.

You will float to areas as needed and work three 12-hour shifts weekly, with every other weekend. This temporary position does not include PTO or participation in Baptist Health South Florida benefits, yet it offers exposure to a major healthcare system

• BLS and ACLS required.
• ASN, Licensed RN eligible to practice in FL; BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (unit dependent) certifications by AHA/Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Float to all hospital areas as needed.

• Seasonal Nursing Pool employees are not eligible for PTO or Baptist Health benefits; not eligible for shift differential or bonuses.

Description

The Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse- DPC RN is a licensed professional able to demonstrate the following proficiency and mastery of the core competencies: assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership and service who delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing and promoting evidence based practice standards of quality, safety and service.

Estimated pay range for this position is $67.00 / hour

Qualifications

Minimum Required Experience: 2 years Cath Lab RN experience required. BLS, ACLS required.

ASN, Licensed Registered Nurse eligible to practice in FL; have BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (dependent upon unit) certification by the AHA or American Red Cross.

Requirements

Candidate can select to commit to a 12-week, 16-week, 18-week, or 24 week contract in the Baptist Health Seasonal Nursing Pool, which is a temporary nursing position.

Candidate must commit to the following requirements for the position:

Float to all areas within the hospital as needed or assigned

Work any three twelve hour shifts per week and every other weekend during the Agreement period for a total of 36 hours per week.

Seasonal Nursing Pool Employees will not be flexed. Seasonal Nursing Pool Employees will not accrue and are not entitled to Paid Time Off (PTO), nor are they permitted to request time off during the Agreement Period. Seasonal Nursing Pool employees are not eligible to participate in any Baptist Health South Florida benefit, shift differential, or bonus programs.
