Job summary

Lorven LLC is a technology-enabled field services company delivering infrastructure intelligence nationwide. We hire Tier 1 Field Data Collectors to lead Katapult Pro surveys on telecom and utility projects, owning data quality, meeting production targets, and setting a high standard for crews.

You will collect pole data, photos, GPS, and attribute data, perform in-field QC, and work outdoors in all weather. This role requires travel ~75% and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of OSP/utility field data collection experience (telecom or electric)
• Katapult Pro certified (Data Collection unit, 100% pass) — or able to certify within 30 days of hire
• Demonstrated production rate of 18+ poles per hour at Tier 1 quality
• Sustained QA pass rate of 98%+ on submitted data
• Working knowledge of pole anatomy: classes, attachments, clearances, guys/anchors, NESC basics
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation; willing to travel 75%+
• Able to work outdoors in all weather and walk several miles daily
• US work authorisation required

Responsibilities

• Collect pole, attachment, equipment, and route data in Katapult Pro to project specifications
• Capture complete photo sets, measurements, GPS locations, and attribute data per Lorven's QA checklist
• Meet or exceed daily production targets while maintaining Tier 1 quality scores
• Perform in-field QC on your own work before upload; correct deficiencies same-day
• Follow all safety procedures for work in and around utility rights-of-way and roadways
• Coordinate with project managers on scope, schedule, and access issues
• Mentor junior collectors and uphold Lorven's field standards on every site

The role

We are hiring Tier 1 Field Data Collectors to lead Katapult Pro field survey operations on telecom and utility projects nationwide. Tier 1 is our highest field standard: you own data quality at the pole, hit production targets, and set the example for every crew you work with.

Preferred

• Make-ready or pole loading analysis familiarity (O-Calc Pro, SPIDAcalc)
• GIS experience (ArcGIS, QGIS)
• Prior BEAD or rural broadband build experience
• Competitive pay based on experience and production (1099 contract)

• Katapult Pro certification and ongoing training provided
