Job summary

LOVB Nebraska is seeking a motivated Ticket Sales & Service Representative in Omaha to grow our fan base through outbound sales, excellent service, and community engagement. You will work with the Ticket Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships teams to drive attendance and revenue while building lasting relationships with fans, schools, and local groups.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and game days.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a sports-related field is preferred.
  • 1–3 years of ticket sales, customer service, or related experience preferred.
  • Experience in sports or live events is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Execute proactive outbound ticket sales to generate new business.
  • Sell full-season memberships, partial plans, group outings, and other ticket products.
  • Build relationships with fans and organizations to drive renewals and loyalty.
  • Deliver exceptional service to season ticket members and group leaders.
  • Coordinate group experiences and community engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity in CRM and report on progress.

Title: Ticket Sales & Service Representative

Location: Omaha, NE

Position Summary

LOVB Nebraska is seeking a motivated, relationship‑driven Ticket Sales & Service Representative to help grow our fan base through exceptional ticket sales, customer service, and community engagement to support revenue generation and fan engagement through ticket sales and service initiatives. This role will be responsible for executing outbound sales efforts, building strong relationships with fans and organizations, and delivering a high‑quality customer experience throughout the season.

Working closely with the Ticket Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships teams, this role will play an important part in driving attendance, managing client relationships, and supporting grassroots efforts that grow the LOVB Nebraska fan base.

Key Responsibilities
Ticket Sales & Revenue Generation
  • Execute proactive outbound ticket sales efforts through phone calls, emails, networking, and in‑person meetings to generate new business.
  • Sell full‑season memberships, partial plans, group outings, premium seating, and other ticket products.
  • Prospect new business opportunities through networking, referrals, community outreach, and self‑generated leads.
  • Support the growth of group ticket sales initiatives and other strategic ticket products.
  • Meet or exceed established individual and team revenue goals, sales activity metrics, and performance expectations.
Ticket Service & Retention
  • Deliver exceptional service to season ticket members, group leaders, and individual buyers.
  • Build meaningful relationships that drive renewals, referrals, and long‑term loyalty.
  • Proactively communicate with ticket members throughout the season to maximize engagement.
  • Resolve ticketing questions and service requests in a timely, professional, and customer‑first manner.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the overall fan experience and improve retention.
Group Sales & Engagement
  • Build and manage relationships with local organizations, schools, youth volleyball clubs, businesses, and community groups.
  • Coordinate group experiences, including hospitality, fan experiences, recognition opportunities, and on‑court activations.
  • Support execution of group outings on event days while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Community & Grassroots Efforts
  • Generate new sales opportunities through grassroots marketing efforts and community engagement.
  • Support community outreach efforts to drive awareness, attendance, and ticket sales.
  • Represent LOVB Nebraska at community events and networking opportunities.
Game Day Responsibilities
  • Assist with game day ticket operations, including customer service and issue resolution.
  • Help execute fan engagement initiatives and promotional activities.
  • Represent LOVB Nebraska in a professional, energetic, and customer‑focused manner.
  • Identify additional sales opportunities through event‑day interactions with fans and group leaders.
Operations & Collaboration
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client interactions, and pipeline management within CRM.
  • Track pipeline progression and follow‑up activities to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Partnerships, and Operations to execute ticket campaigns and fan initiatives.
  • Assist with sales reporting and the execution of departmental sales and service campaigns.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and team‑first culture.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in ticket sales, customer service, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in sports or live events is a plus.

Reporting Structure: This position reports to the Director of Ticket Sales and collaborates closely with cross‑functional team members across Marketing, Partnerships, and Operations.
