Qualifications

• Ability to speak, write and understand English for effective communication with customers and coworkers.
• Basic computer skills including POS systems and payroll programs used by TSA ARC.
• Ability to give change accurately.

Responsibilities

• Present a professional appearance and follow dress code.
• Accurately manage cash drawer; open, close and balance with proper procedures.
• Learn the Point of Sale system and complete sales; progress to proficiency within 3 months.
• Maintain a clean work environment at the register and store areas, restocking as needed.
• Greet customers and offer assistance to ensure a welcoming shopping experience.
• Follow Salvation Army policies regarding merchandise sale and handling.
