Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory in Flint, MI is seeking a part-time Processor I to help prepare donated goods for sale. You will perform routine merchandising, pricing, and space maintenance to support thrift store operations and mission programs.

This role requires basic math, reliable attendance, and the ability to work a 25-hour weekly schedule including weekends. Training provided within 3 months, with emphasis on teamwork, accuracy, and safe handling of merchandise.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or currently pursuing.
• Basic math and basic computer skills.
• Good English communication and reliability.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise according to guidelines.
• Track and report production numbers for locations.
• Move merchandise to sales floor or shipping areas.
• Assist donors and complete donation receipts.
• Receive ARC Center trucks and help load/unload products.
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces.
• Meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and stocking.
