Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with ages 3–5 preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood development.

• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

• Provide a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Supervise and care for children throughout the day.
• Follow the daily schedule and classroom curriculum.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, including learning, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play.
• Help children develop social, emotional, language, and independence skills.
• Assist with meals, snacks, bathroom/diapering needs, and other daily routines.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization.
• Communicate professionally with parents about their child’s day.
• Follow all daycare policies and Georgia childcare regulations.
• Work cooperatively with other teachers and management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience working with children ages 3 to 5 is preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
• Ability to create and lead engaging, educational activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide attentive supervision and respond appropriately to children’s needs.
• Patience, flexibility, creativity, and a nurturing attitude.
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, and sit on the floor as needed.
• Ability to pass required background checks and meet health and safety requirements.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.

• Ability to follow classroom routines, center policies, and Georgia childcare regulations.
