Job summary

Qualys, Inc. in Foster City is seeking a Product Manager for its Threat Research Unit (TRU) to lead the strategic roadmap and data-driven prioritization of cybersecurity features.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, and Product leadership to convert vision into prioritized backlogs and market-ready requirements. You will drive customer discovery, design scalable solutions, and empower Sales with compelling pitches, demos, and deep-dives on advanced security capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product Management with at least 3 years specifically in Cybersecurity (VM, EDR, or Threat Intel).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus).
• Proficiency in Python and SQL (or similar scripting languages) is required.
• Exceptional ability to communicate across multiple time zones and engage stakeholders from field sales to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Roadmap & Data-Driven Prioritization: analyze feature impact and prioritize the roadmap using empirical data; balance roadmap items with Engineering, Marketing, and Product leadership.
• Transform high-level vision into precise technical requirements and prioritized backlogs; collaborate with PMM and Sales to position features in the market.
• Customer Discovery & Solution Design: lead discovery sessions, design scalable solutions, manage requests with systematic review and stakeholder communication; write impactful blog posts and lead webinars.
