Job summary

TrendAI, the global AI security leader and enterprise unit, seeks a Director, Threat Research Insights to lead its multi-disciplinary research publication and awareness program. You will shape editorial strategy, publishing cadence, and research voice to reach diverse audiences with impactful security insights.

You’ll collaborate with researchers, product marketing, and executives to align messaging, track ROI, and grow a high-performing team responsible for external and internal research

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience across security, communications, marketing, or related fields.
• 5+ years of people leadership—managing teams or managers.
• Ability to translate technical research into clear, compelling content.
• Strong business acumen to align team work with broader goals.
• Deep knowledge of the information security industry and research landscape.

Responsibilities

• Own long-term editorial strategy and content roadmap.
• Own publishing strategy for amplifying research across channels.
• Establish and enforce TrendAI voice and editorial style across platforms.
• Collaborate with threat researchers to surface high-impact research for audiences.
• Lead and grow a multi-disciplinary team across publication, social, events, and internal awareness.
• Manage the research blog and social media presence; set editorial direction and cadence.
• Collaborate with evangelists and shape TrendAI presence at industry events.
• Run internal awareness to bridge threat research with the rest of the company.
• Coordinate with Product Marketing, research leadership, and communications to align priorities.
• Track metrics, conduct content audits, and report outcomes to executives.
• Support ROI with cross-functional SEO/GEO, social, growth marketing and PR.
• Provide executive reporting translating editorial successes to business outcomes.
