Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Intelligence Analyst in Alabama to monitor threats, produce intelligence updates, and support executive protection efforts. You will collaborate with security teams to investigate insider threats and assess risks to personnel and operations.

The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and experience with OSINT platforms and regulatory environments. On-site work and after-hours on-call coverage are likely.

Qualifications

• Experience in intelligence analysis or related field.
• Formal intelligence training and understanding of collection, analysis, and reporting methodologies.
• Knowledge of physical security, executive protection, crisis management, and insider threat programs.
• Experience monitoring protest activity and executive travel threat assessments.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with ability to translate information into actionable intelligence.
• Excellent written communication and experience producing intelligence reports and assessments.
• Strong briefing and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience using intelligence, investigative, and OSINT platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Experience in regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce recurring intelligence products, including the weekly Physical Security Intelligence Update.
• Monitor and assess threats impacting employees, facilities, executives, or operations.
• Conduct intelligence-driven investigations involving insider threat, executive protection, and physical security.
• Monitor protests and events that could disrupt operations or pose risks.
• Perform executive travel threat assessments and support executive protection activities.
• Process and analyze tactical intelligence alerts involving at-risk individuals and threats.
• Conduct background investigations using internal, commercial, and OSINT resources.
• Provide timely intelligence assessments, briefings, and recommendations to security leadership.
• Collaborate with Physical Security, Incident Response, and Crisis Management teams for threat mitigation.
• Respond to high-priority intelligence requests and emerging security events.
• Prepare clear written reports and executive-level intelligence briefings.
• Participate in rotational on-call coverage for after-hours intelligence matters.
