Job summary

Utah Department of Public Safety's Statewide Information & Analysis Center (SIAC) seeks a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to monitor networks, perform strategic intelligence production, and lead proactive threat hunting. You will translate complex data into actionable intelligence, deliver briefings, and support information security across public and private sectors to strengthen defensive posture.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, hands-on SIEM and vulnerability tool

Qualifications

• Analytical thinking and intelligence analysis experience.
• Experience with SIEMs and vulnerability assessment platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication for briefings.

Responsibilities

• Threat Analysis: identify trends and draw actionable conclusions.
• Vulnerability Management: conduct on-demand assessments and investigate incidents.
• Reporting & Dissemination: produce reports and stakeholder recommendations.
• Investigative Support: assist law enforcement with network analysis.
• Collaboration: work with public/private sectors on security outreach.
