Job summary

Phoenix Cyber seeks a Threat Intelligence Analyst focused on Operational Technology (OT) to join the client delivery team. The role entails collecting, reviewing, and translating threat intelligence for cybersecurity analysts, with emphasis on OT environments and ICS/SCADA systems.

The ideal candidate brings extensive IT experience, hands-on OT threat modeling, and familiarity with ATT&CK for ICS, SPARTA, or Cyber Kill Chain, plus a Top Secret clearance to operate on sensitive assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of IT experience.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on OT/ICS/SCADA analysis experience.
• Understanding of industrial protocols and lower-level control architecture.
• Experience applying ATT&CK for ICS, SPARTA, or Cyber Kill Chain.
• Understanding of the NIST Framework.
• Understanding OT threats and vulnerabilities.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes threat intelligence from open sources to provide actionable threat reporting.
• Supports content developers/engineers in identifying gaps in protection and detection for OT systems.
• Reviews logs, network events, and alerts for signs of attacks or APTs.
• Performs root cause analysis and supports remediation for OT cybersecurity incidents.
• Acts as the Subject Matter Expert on OT cybersecurity issues.

Requirements

• Working understanding of common industrial communication protocols and lower-level control architecture.
• Demonstrated experience applying ATT&CK for ICs, SPARTA, or Cyber Kill Chain for ICs to dissect adversary campaigns and analyze cyber-physical attack paths.
• Understanding of the NIST Framework
• Understanding of threats and vulnerabilities in OT environments.
