Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks a Threat Analyst - Intermediate to conduct in-depth threat analysis of space assets and operations, supporting mission assurance and strategic decisions on site at a government facility in the Virginia area.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in space domain awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Contingent upon contract award, with potential bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s with 8+ years, or no degree with 10+ years.
• Expertise in space operations, threat analysis, or intelligence disciplines.
• Proficiency with analytical tools and space domain awareness systems.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed analysis of potential threats to space systems and capabilities.
• Monitor global space activities and maintain situational awareness.
• Develop and deliver threat assessments and intelligence products for leadership.
• Support real-time operations with timely threat analysis and recommendations.
• Document findings and maintain records per standards.
• Collaborate with mission operations, engineering, and intelligence teams.
• Participate in readiness exercises and post-event reviews.
• Contribute to process improvements and tool development for threat analysis.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing briefings for stakeholders.
