Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Threat Intelligence Analyst (AI Training) to analyze threat reports, adversary campaigns, and attacker behavior patterns. This remote hourly contract spans 10–40 hours/week and aims to shape how AI understands cybersecurity threats.

You will evaluate indicators of compromise and CTI workflows, generate structured data for AI training, and review AI outputs for inaccuracies, applying MITRE ATT&CK to annotate scenarios. Work independently on task-based assignments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in threat intelligence, SOC analysis, or related security role.
• Hands-on familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, OSINT collection, or CTI workflows.
• Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills.

What You'll Do

• Analyze and classify real-world threat reports, adversary campaigns, and attacker behavior patterns
• Evaluate indicators of compromise, TTPs, and end-to-end attack narratives for accuracy and realism
• Generate, structure, and validate threat intelligence data used to train and benchmark AI systems
• Review AI-generated cybersecurity outputs and flag inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or fabricated data
• Apply frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK to assess and annotate threat scenarios

Who You Are

• 2+ years of experience in threat intelligence, SOC analysis, or a related security role
• Hands-on familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, OSINT collection, or CTI workflows
• Sharp instinct for distinguishing genuine attacker behavior from noise or synthetic data
• Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills
• Comfortable working autonomously on structured tasks with clear deliverables

Nice to Have

• Experience writing or producing threat intelligence reports
• Background in malware analysis, incident response, or red/blue team operations
• Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs) or SIEM tooling
• Prior experience contributing to AI or data labeling projects
