Job summary

Trintech Inc. in Plano, Texas is seeking a security professional to triage, analyze, and investigate alerts from SIEM, EDR, DLP, and related systems. You will support incident response by collecting evidence from endpoints, servers, and network infrastructure.

The role partners across teams to improve security controls, awareness, and incident response. A Master’s in IT/cybersecurity and 2–4 years of information security experience are preferred, with relevant certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or related field is preferred.
• 2–4 years of information security, risk management, compliance, or audit experience.
• Industry certifications such as SEC+, CYSA+, GSEC, GCFA, or CISSP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Triage, analyze, and investigate security alerts from SIEM, EDR, DLP, and other technologies.
• Analyze and report on vulnerabilities identified by scanning tools; provide remediation context.
• Participate in IR by collecting and analyzing evidence from endpoints, servers, and network infrastructure.
• Assist with deployment, operation, and maintenance of security technologies including SIEM, EDR, DLP, and others.
• Create and manage internal phishing assessments to promote security awareness.
• Serve as liaison with security service providers and vendors.
