Qualifications

• CySA+/GCFA/GCIA/GICSP certification
• Minimum 5 years IT experience
• Minimum 3 years with SIEM in content development or Incident Response
• Minimum 3 years System/Network Administration experience
• Understanding of log formats
• Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Strong understanding of network architecture
• Experience developing and maintaining scripts (PowerShell, Python)
• Understanding of Defense-in-Depth

Responsibilities

• Develop threat detection use cases and custom signatures for programs and critical applications.
• Develop SIEM scripts, drive automation, and expand security analytics capabilities.
• Review telemetry data to ensure high-fidelity data ingestion and accurate alerting.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity SMEs, system owners, and analysts to define alerting priorities and protection strategies.
