Stanford University’s Division of Thoracic Surgery seeks a board-certified Thoracic Surgeon to become Division Chief and Associate Professor or Professor in the University Medical Line or University Tenure Line. The candidate should demonstrate leadership, excellence in thoracic surgical care, and a strong record of scholarly research and faculty development.

• Board-certified thoracic surgeon with MD or equivalent
• Eligibility for medical licensure in California

• Lead Thoracic Surgery Division within Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Oversee clinical care, research, and education activities.
• Mentor and develop junior faculty, residents, and fellows.
• Foster multidisciplinary collaboration and program development.
• Champion quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives
