Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a Physician Assistant with cardiothoracic surgery experience for a travel assignment in South Carolina. You will cover CT surgery cases, including open and endoscopic procedures, with a 1:2 beeper call rotation and a 30-minute response time.

Typical cases include CABG on-pump/off-pump, valvular repair/replacement, and congenital defect repairs (ASD, VSD, PFO). Weatherby provides paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing, and 24-hour access to a Weatherby consultant.

Qualifications

• Cardiothoracic surgery skills required, open and endoscopic.
• CABG on-pump and off-pump experience required.
• Valvular repair/replacement experience required.
• Congenital defect repair experience: ASD, VSD, PFO.
• Beeper call coverage with 1:2 ratio; 30-minute response time.
