Tufts Medical Center in Downtown Boston is seeking a Thoracic Surgeon to join our expanding program. This role will deliver cutting-edge thoracic and esophageal care, including robotic minimally invasive techniques, while collaborating with oncologists, pulmonologists and other specialists to tailor patient-centered treatment plans.
The ideal candidate will have Board Certification/Eligibility, Massachusetts medical license, teaching experience, and active clinical research interests.

The Division of Thoracic Surgery at Tufts Medical Center is actively recruiting for an additional Thoracic Surgeon in our growing practice.
We have a rich history of delivering exceptional care for a wide range of thoracic and esophageal conditions, which includes a highly effective robotic minimally invasive program.
Our thoracic surgeons offer cutting‑edge surgical care through a collaborative approach to ensure that patients, even those with the most intricate conditions, receive the most advanced treatments promptly. By collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals such as oncologists, pulmonologists, radiation oncologists, gastroenterologists, respiratory therapists, as well as physical and occupational therapists and rehabilitation specialists, we develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs to guarantee the utmost quality of care. Our specialized collaborative programs in thoracic surgery are dedicated to providing exceptional care to complex patients.

Tufts Medicine offers a competitive salary commensurate with academic training and practice experience. A Tufts University School of Medicine appointment will be offered commensurate with academic qualifications.

The salary range for this position is $450,000 - $507,599 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, internal equity, and academic rank.
