UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA invites applications for an Assistant/Associate/Professor in the academic clinical track with a focus on Thoracic Pathology. The successful candidate will join a large network of pathologists, participate in teaching and sign-out, and have opportunities for translational research using state-of-the-art molecular genomics and digital pathology labs.

Startup resources, protected time, and a three-lecture series may be provided.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Anatomic Pathology required.
• Thoracic pathology fellowship strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and sign out cases in thoracic pathology.
• Engage in translational research with genomic labs.
• Participate in residency/fellowship education.
• Support career development and scholarly activities.
