Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to maintain fresh departments and provide a welcoming store experience. You will stock, rotate, and merchandise products, and engage customers with product knowledge while working across multiple departments.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required, and weekly pay comes with strong benefits.

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an l-cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
