Job summary

Kforce Inc. is seeking a Vendor Risk Analyst in Florida to conduct cybersecurity risk assessments of third-party vendors and perform security reviews throughout the vendor lifecycle.

You will review questionnaires, policies, and audits, evaluate controls against NIST/ISO 27001/SOC 2, and identify remediation needs. You will collaborate with Procurement, Legal, IT, and business teams, communicate risks to stakeholders, and present findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3-5 years in Third-Party Risk Management or related security areas.
• Hands-on experience conducting third-party/vendor security assessments.
• Experience reviewing security questionnaires, controls, and audit findings.
• Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
• Familiarity with GRC or security-rating platforms such as BitSight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with management.

• Maintain documentation of assessments, findings, risks, and mitigation strategies
• Ensure assessments align with industry standards and applicable regulatory requirements
• Partner with Procurement, Legal, IT, Information Security, and business teams to address vendor risks
• Clearly communicate cybersecurity risks, findings, and recommendations to business and technical stakeholders
• Present findings and recommendations to management and steering committees
• Manage multiple vendor assessments and priorities simultaneously

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Vendor Risk, Cybersecurity Risk, IT Risk, GRC, or Information Security assessments
• Hands-on experience conducting third-party/vendor security assessments
• Experience reviewing security questionnaires, security controls, compliance documentation, and risk findings
• Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2
• Experience with GRC, vendor-risk, or security-rating platforms such as BitSight
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, organizational, and project-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present cybersecurity risks to management

Preferred Skills

• CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
• CTPRA (Certified Third-Party Risk Assessor)
• Experience providing executive-level cybersecurity risk reporting

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Salaried personnel receive paid time off.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
