Job summary

THIRA Health LLC seeks a Dietitian to oversee meal and nutrition care for residents in PHP and IOP programs. You will perform nutrition assessments, counseling, and coordinate care with the clinical team to support treatment plans.

Responsibilities include meal planning, education groups, and maintaining EMR data. Requires WA RD license, active food handler permit, and ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and healthcare software.
• Experience with EMR systems and medical practice software.
• Able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check (federal and state).
• Able to work evenings, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Graduate of an accredited Dietetics program and WA RD license.
• Maintain WA State Food Handler’s Permit or obtain within 2 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nutritional care, assessments, care planning and enteral nutrition (residential).
• Coordinate weekly nutrition goals with patients using HAES approach.
• Monitor meal planning and support nutrition education groups.
• Maintain patient nutrition data in EMR and communicate with providers and families.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team and ensure kitchen cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Additionally responsible for providing nutrition assessment and counseling to patients. Coordinate care with clinical and medical treatmentteamto assist in treatment plans for patients.

Required Qualifications:

Work is performed primarily indoors, with bothartificialandnaturallighting. Equipmentincludes standard office equipment, i.e. computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, printer, and scanner. Physical demands include sitting, walking, standing, bending over, repetitive use of hands , and lifting up to 25lbs. Position requires close contact with all THIRA Health staff and mental health patients. Hours and days can vary within a Saturday through Friday week.
