• Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.

Job Purpose:

Process Technician Job Purpose: To provide injection molding processing expertise for a range of product and materials.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs technical tests and experiments for process of R&D engineering.
• Will act as an advocate of disciplined plastics approaches using (ie. Robust Mold Trials, Systematic Molding Techniques, Standard Work Flow)
• Provide troubleshooting expertise and resolve Injection Molding problems using strong systematic trouble shooting techniques.
• Develop technical problem solving skills among set up technicians. Provide key inputs and leadership into transformational process development
• Performs set-up of equipment.
• Monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators.
• Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results through masking and diffusion for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.
• Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 5 years related experience
