Harper-Engineering-Company is seeking a Thermoforming Operator to set up and run large-scale forming equipment, including hydraulic presses and ovens. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on operation, and a commitment to safety in a demanding production environment.

Responsibilities include material handling, tool setup, process monitoring, and basic troubleshooting, with a focus on producing conforming parts and maintaining clean, safe work areas on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy industrial machinery such as thermoforming or hydraulic presses.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Willingness to work around heat, noise, oils, adhesives, and cleaning agents.

Responsabilités

• Review work orders and verify materials and requirements.
• Set up and safely operate shears to cut material per specs.
• Load, dry, and prepare materials and tooling for forming processes.
• Set up hydraulic press with correct program, tooling, and parameters.
• Monitor cycles, temperatures, pressures, and controls; adjust safely as needed.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical issues; escalate when necessary.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and support tooling changes as required.
