Job summary

Novolex is hiring a Thermoforming Operator in Mineral Wells, West Virginia. You will operate thermoforming equipment, ensure quality, and support other departments to meet production goals.

A high school diploma and 1+ year manufacturing experience are required, with competitive starting pay and weekly pay with a $1 shift differential. Shift options include 6:00pm–6:00am, 6:00am–6:00pm, or a 2x2x3 schedule, with eligibility for annual wage increases and a monthly productivity bonus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of manufacturing experience, preferably in thermoforming.
• Ability to work in a team environment and support other departments to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Operate Thermoforming equipment throughout the facility.
• Read and interpret instructions, set up mold bases, and adjust as needed.
• Inspect parts, load/unload inserts, and complete packing per specifications.
• Perform quality checks and report issues to QC.
• Maintain housekeeping and proper documentation.

Thermoforming Operatror|Mineral Wells, West Virginia|Now Hiring

Compensation

• Starting pay rate from $17.95 per hour -Paid Weekly- plus $1 shift differential!
• Eligible for annual & skill-based wage increases
• Eligible for monthly bonus based upon plant productivity*

Summary

This position is responsible for operating Thermoforming equipment throughout the facility.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Ability to use measurement instruments to check work.
• Adjusts and notifies Tooling personnel the need for more complex machine adjustments.
• Removes parts from the press.
• Loads and removes inserts in the mold (“change over”) and inspects parts.
• Performs all duties of a Packer when necessary.
• Packs plastic containers and lids of various sizes into sleeves and boxes per packing specifications.
• Grinds scrap material out of sleeves when needed.
• Ability to accurately read and operate machine’s computer console.
• Responsible for the overall continuing manufacturing process.
• Set up and install mold bases.
• Completes all paperwork as required.
• Ability to use and understand Insight and Gainseeker.
• Responsible for hourly retain rack checks.
• Verifies the quality of the product and reports issues to QC.
• Housekeeping as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• + 1 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in Thermoforming.
• Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to other departments to meet production goals.
