Job summary

Amcor is seeking a detail-oriented press operator in Evansville, IN to monitor print quality during production runs, calculate necessary parts, and label boxes for each order. You will manage sequential numbering, separate scrap materials, and complete the required quality documentation.

The role requires standing for long shifts, lifting up to 30 lbs, and passing color vision testing. Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to calculate part requirements.
• Strong organizational skills with multi-tasking abilities.
• Stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must pass Ishihara Color Vision Test.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure print quality during production runs.
• Calculate parts needed to fulfill orders and label sequences.
• Number and label boxes/boxes and totes for each order.
• Place scrap and poor-quality product in designated containers.
• Complete relevant quality paperwork and maintain clean work area.
