Amcor is seeking a Thermoform Tooling Technician to maintain, repair, and prepare molds and trim tools in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You will work with the Tooling Supervisor and leads to ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and production-ready.

The role emphasizes basic mechanical ability, use of hand tools, and ability to read and follow instructions, with opportunities to learn and grow within a technical setting. A strong safety mindset is required in a fast-paced plant.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Possesses basic mechanical ability and comfort using hand tools.
• Communicates clearly and follows written and verbal instructions.
• Able to use basic measuring tools such as gauges or micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic maintenance, cleaning, and repair of molds and trim tools.
• Installs and removes molds and tooling for production needs.
• Operates forming and trimming equipment safely and correctly.
• Troubleshoots simple equipment or tooling issues and reports concerns promptly.
• Completes required documentation and follows inspection procedures.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assists team members with repair tasks and general shop duties.
• Follows all company safety, quality, and operational guidelines.
