Job summary

Campbell's is seeking a Thermal Processing Lab Technician to execute heat penetration testing and support development of thermal processes for new products. You will prepare test containers, operate retort systems, collect data, document results, and assist with product evaluations.

You will collaborate with Thermal Process Specialists, product developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure test requirements are met, while keeping the lab clean, safe, and ready for testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 1+ years in a thermal processing lab, QA, or analytical testing, or bachelor’s degree in a science-related field.
• Experience in thermal processing, food R&D, QA, operations, or other scientific/technical field.
• Experience in laboratory, pilot plant, quality, manufacturing, or technical testing environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute heat penetration testing under guidance of a Thermal Process Specialist with accurate container prep and retort operation.
• Evaluate products and packages using quantitative measurements and observations.
• Maintain lab readiness and organize tools, materials, and supplies; support equipment checks.
