Physical Therapy Technician – NoHo
Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Physical Therapy Technician to join the team full-time at its NoHo clinic in New York.
Pay Range
Base pay range: $16.50/hr – $16.50/hr. Pay based on skills and experience; contact recruiter for details.
Job Requirements
- Support patient care by preparing treatment areas, gathering equipment and materials, and performing procedures under direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist.
- Execute a high standard of clinical excellence while maintaining 5‑star customer service.
- Collaborate with team members in a community environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to multi‑task.
- Attention to detail and willingness to grow.
- Athletic experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements
- Manual dexterity, general strength and endurance.
- Lifting: routinely 5‑35 pounds from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, shoulder to overhead.
- Carrying: routine loads 5‑10 pounds for 40‑50 feet.
- Pushing: routine loads 5‑150 pounds on casters, runners or pulleys.
- Grip: routine 1‑2 minutes of 40‑50 pounds.
