Therapy Technician – Lower East Side
Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Therapy Technician to join the team at our Lower East Side clinic.
Job Requirements
- Support patient care by preparing treatment areas, gathering equipment and materials, and performing procedures under the direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist.
- Execute a high standard of clinical excellence while maintaining 5‑star customer service.
- Foster a collaborative, community environment for patients and team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to multi‑task.
- Attention to detail and willingness to grow.
- Athletic experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements
- Manual dexterity, general strength, and endurance.
- Lift routinely loads of 5–35 pounds (floor to waist, waist to shoulder, shoulder to overhead).
- Carry routinely loads of 5–10 pounds for 40–50 feet.
- Push routinely loads of 5–150 pounds on casters, runners, or pulleys.
- Sustain a grip for 1–2 minutes at 40–50 pounds.
$17 - $17 an hour
