Southcentral Foundation (SCF) is seeking Therapy Technician I and II to assist with restoring customers’ functioning under supervision. The role supports Acupuncture, Chiropractic, PT, OT, SLP, and MT, and participates in infection control and safety programs.
Progression between levels depends on demonstrated capability. Two levels provide increasing responsibility, with Alaska Native communities in SCF’s service area in focus.

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Therapy Technician is responsible for assisting with the restoration of customer-owner’s functioning to help prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability. The Therapy Technician administers modalities of treatment only under the direct supervision of a staff therapist or provider, supporting Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech and Language Pathology (SLP), and Massage Therapy (MT). They participate in departmental infection control, equipment training, and safety programs.
This position has two (2) levels designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experiences. Progression between job levels is based on the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments.
Qualifications:
SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF’s geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF’s vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services:
