Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Therapy Tech to assist patients under the direction of physical and occupational therapists, supporting treatment sessions and recovery.

This role may include minimal office support and patient reporting tasks. Responsibilities include escorting patients, assisting transfers, preparing whirlpool baths and dressings, applying modalities under supervision, monitoring responses, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current hands-on CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients, guests, clients, and residents to treatment areas.
• Assists patients on/off exercise tables or equipment and with transfers, gait, and exercise.
• Prepares whirlpool baths and dressings; assists with dressing changes.
• Applies hot/cold packs under direction; positions and drapes patients for equipment use.
• Monitors patient responses to treatment and reports to supervisor; responds to emergencies.
• Maintains clean, orderly, and safe work environment; follows department cleaning policy.
• Assists Administrative Secretary with department paperwork; performs other duties as required.
