Job summary

ClearSky Health in Lancaster, OH is seeking a PRN Therapy Technician to join our state-of-the-art rehabilitation team. Under licensed therapists, you will support patient care and assist therapy staff in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and prior inpatient hospital experience is preferred. Day shifts and PRN coverage offered with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 2 years of experience in inpatient hospital setting preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Consults with Therapist and other members of the interdisciplinary team for the delivery of patient care.
• Assists with admission, discharge, and transfer of patients.
• Assists in the preparation and maintenance of the gymnasium unit and environment to aid patient comfort and healing.
• Performs basic patient care tasks such as toileting, bathing, linen and clothing changes, hydration, ambulation, and other needs.
• Documents vital signs and intake/output; reports changes to nursing or therapy staff.

Transfers patients utilizing proper body mechanics and safe patient handling techniques.Documents vital signs, measures and records intake and output, weights, etc. Reports any changes observed in condition or behavior of patient to appropriate nursing or therapy personnel.May be required to work during inclement weather and other staffing emergencies.Requirements for consideration:High school diploma or GED equivalent required.2 years of experience in inpatient hospital setting preferred.Current CPR certification required.We value our employee’s skills, talents and input.
