Qualifications

• Good command of English and Chinese, written and spoken.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn.
• Completed departmental training as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists to prepare and carry out treatment programs for patients.
• Assist in setting up and assembling equipment for assessment and treatment.
• Carry out specific patient assessment with training provided.
• Provide technical assistance and observation during care and examination procedures.
• Provide technical assistance in producing splints, pressure garments and assistive devices.
• Perform independent operation of computers and data processing.
• Help prepare computerized and visual training materials for education and rehab.
• Assist in teaching computer skills for patient education and work rehab.
• Handle triage, out-patient registration, booking and enquiries.
• Manage patient records and retrieve data from in-house systems.
• Collect, verify and compile statistics.
• Assist in inventory control and procurement.
• Clean and sterilize equipment and work areas.
• Maintain documentation for quality, safety and health requirements.
