Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to join the team at Powers Health Rehabilitation Center on a PRN basis. You will support therapy staff by transporting patients, preparing treatment areas, and assisting with patient care in the hospital setting.

We value compassionate individuals with a High School diploma and CPR/BCLS certification, ready to participate in on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• CPR/BCLS Certification.
• 6-12 months of relevant experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport, lift, transfer, move and reposition patients in the patient room, Therapy Gym and other common areas of the hospital.
• Prepares patient for prescribed treatment and assists professional staff with patient treatment.
• Prepares, cleans and maintains treatment areas and equipment.
• Procures and keeps an accurate inventory of all therapy supplies.
• Performs routine clerical tasks for Therapy Department.
