Job summary

Description:Perform diagnostic sleep testing including all PAP therapy titration.Check in patients and set up rooms for testing.Conduct patient hookup and chart data accurately.Ensure cleaning and maintenance of equipment.Utilize computerized charting systems and sleep devices.Work collaboratively with other sleep technicians.Employee will not work alone, and call is not required.Nights only Sunday through Thursday.Two of the beds can be used for pediatric testing.All patients will have a 2:1 technician ratio, except for those younger than 3 years old, who will have a 1:1 ratio.Limited scoring will occur during data collection.Training will include modified EMR training and shadowing another sleep technician.This position requires strong communication and patient interaction skills.
