Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for a 13-week assignment in Weirton, WV. The role includes inpatient, ER, rehab, PACU, SNF, endoscopy, and cath lab duties with 12-hour nights and a busy caseload.

Description:50-mile radius rule applies.Average number of treatments per day is 90-100.Certifications required include BLS and ACLS.RRT and CRT (those grandfathered in by the state board) are acceptable.Types of patients include adults, pediatrics, and neonates.No NICU responsibilities.Position covers inpatient, ER, rehab, PACU, SNF, endoscopy, cath lab, and outpatient ABGs and 6-minute walks.Duties include floor duties, breathing treatments, ABGs, and capillary sticks for I-Stats.Managing respiratory equipment is required.Assistance with intubations is expected; independent intubation is not required.A supervisor/director is available Monday through Friday.Charge respiratory therapists will handle all other shifts.Traveling respiratory therapists will not be the only RT on-site.Equipment includes Puritan Bennett 840s, BiPAP V60s, and high flow Airvo 2s.Scheduling follows a 4-week rotation with no self-scheduling available.Every other weekend work is required according to the schedule.Holiday work may also be required, with a rotating schedule.No call or standby call requirement exists.Scrub color is teal; acceptable scrub pattern shirts are allowed.Orientation will include 1-3 shifts with a preceptor as needed.Cancellation policy allows for 2 shifts per 13-week assignment.Charting system used is Cerner.BSN is not required.Trauma level is unspecified.Care setting is acute.Division is allied health.
